The Executive Committee of the VpsyB Association
The Executive Committee of the VpsyB Association works on a voluntary basis and is appointed as the Executive Board of the association in accordance with Section 26 of the German Civil Code (BGB). The Executive Committee is responsible for managing all of the Association's activities and implementing the resolutions of the General Meeting.
Responsibilities of the Executive Committee
The Executive Committee has the essential task of steering the strategic and operational direction of the VpsyB Association. In this function, the Executive Committee decides and acts in all matters of the association that are not expressly reserved for a resolution by the General Meeting.
The core tasks of the Executive Committee include
- Strategic decisions: Developing and adopting strategies that serve the further development of the association and its goals.
- Operational management: Ensuring the effective implementation of all association activities and projects in accordance with the adopted strategies.
- Implementation of resolutions: Implementation of the resolutions passed by the General Meeting in order to realize the association's objectives.
- Representation: Representing the association externally and maintaining relationships with relevant interest groups and cooperation partners.
- Financial administration: Supervision of the association's financial health by the treasurer, including the preparation of budgets and annual reports.
Voluntary work in the service of the community
The voluntary work of the entire Executive Committee ensures that all decisions and actions are taken in the best interests of the members and the association. This altruistic way of working enables the association to be managed independently and for the common good.
Anchoring in accordance with the Articles of Association
In accordance with the articles of association of the VpsyB Association, the Executive Committee is designated as the Executive Board within the meaning of Section 26 of the German Civil Code (BGB). This legal anchoring guarantees transparency and reliability in the management of the association.

Brief introduction
Allow me to briefly introduce myself.
I have been a full-time psychological counselor for more than 20 years. I have been counseling couples on relationship issues for more than 12 years.
In 2003, I began holding specialist training courses as a freelance lecturer and have been a senior lecturer at the Academy of Psychological Counselors (ApsyB) since 2012.
I have been Vice President of VpsyB e.V. since the association was founded and have now been President of the association since 30.3.2023.
I am always available to answer our members' questions about psychological counseling and couples counseling as well as supervision sessions.

Alexander Bruckner

Brief introduction
Since completing my studies in 1994 at the Ludwig-Maximilians-University (diploma thesis "Associations as an Intermediary Body") with the minor subjects "Work and Organizational Psychology", I have been actively involved in the organization and design of associations. Further activities were and are in the field of management consulting, taking into account the principles of work and organizational psychology. As part of the VpsyB activities, I am head of the examination board and the quality seal examination for participants from the Academy of Psychological Counselors (ApsyB). I have been Vice President of VpsyB since 13.11.2014, focusing on supporting and promoting the organizational development of the association and intensifying contact with politicians.

Brief introduction
Allow me to briefly introduce myself.
I have been working as a psychological counselor outside the medical field for many years. I also work as a couples counselor and MPU counselor.
At the Academy of Psychological Counselors, in addition to my specialty of burn-out prevention, I also teach business start-up, practice management and MPU preparation.
I am a founding member of VpsyB e.V. and Vice President - your contact for corporate issues and primary burn-out prevention - stress management.
